. not a reason .

After reading Jia Hui's blog post about appreciating life and Chris' comment about "we're in form6 because we're poor".

Chris, I so remember you telling me how so-n-so was not poor n blablabla! If u remember who i'm talking about. Lol.

You see, that day in our class, we were telling Mrs. PS Tan the exact same thing.

"Teacher, we're in form 6 because we're poor"

You know what she said?

"You don't know what poor is!"

And you know why? She hails from a pretty poor family (back when she was a kid!).

According to her, the family (her parents and i think 5 or 6 siblings) had to share ONE toothbrush, ONE face towel and so on.

She also said "Nowadays, you all got beds and you all are complaining??"

Then Poh Yee added "Aiya, no matter how poor one is today, sure at least got handphone!"

Well, i suppose the standard of living is different now from back then.

All hail form6 and all who pull through. *salutes

Honestly, i used to think this form6 thing was for dum dums. UNTIL i started.

Quoting Jia Hui, "Form Six is not THAT BAD alright? In fact, I think it’s the best Pre-University programme in the world! =) Hmm, toughest though =/"

Yes, Jia Hui, IF i pull through. IF. haha.

Believe me, it IS tough. Even the random ppl i meet tell me that. The photostating lady in DJ, the shop owner in the Cineleisure place etc etc. Great goodness.
