"symptoms of depression:
1. lose interest in everything you loved to do and used to make you happy.
2. short temper and always firing at people around you...
3. always lazy and easily tired out
4. paranoid about other people and low self esteem
5. easily worried and stressed
so yeah.. depression might seem like such a big word.. but sometimes the most minor things might cause it... it might not be a big depression like suicidal or something.. but sometimes you can just suffer... so dont fall into it's traps and try to stay calmthe magazine said.... *i quote* lol.... that it's alright to take a breather once in awhile... try to calm yourself down.. think about why you are getting angry or frustrated or sad about... and think if it's reasonable... or you can always turn to someone close to you for comfort.."
"STEPS ON HOW TO OVERCOME DEPRESSION WITH UR FRIENDS :
1. Call up your Closest friends (preferably the same sex) * if u don't happen to have any friends to start of with then maybe u oughta get urself a how-to-attempt-suicide manual book.
2. Gather at a random place to do random activities together without supervision of adults
Suggested activies:
- calling Mc'ds/pizza and watch a feel good movie at 11 pm at night.
- Going for a jog together at late hours just to feel slightly more refreshed and have long chats..
- Go for random outings late at night and just slow cruise while you breathe in the polluted city air
- Doing works/assignments together and drink almost poisonous coffee's together for no good reason
- Plan a random holiday trip with ur friends
- Buy random get-well-soon gifts for ur friends that are sick such as flowers and cards *cos it feels good when u make others feel great =)
- Call BFs/GFs to tag along in the group and have double/triple/quadruple dates! :p
- Take a break from crazy assignments+ work+ exam stress to go Shopping together with ur friends!!
- Go for a random picnic at a park with a radio and half cooked foods frm ur friends XD *do this only under supervision of a sane person which in this case is none XD
- Bake a cake ( remember to insert paramedics emergency number within thecake incase it is needed)
- If ALL OF THE ABOVE should fail.... Just give random phonecalls in the WEE hourS of the morning to have a LOng Chat (only do this when u know ur free the next day XD)
u know if ur BEyond depressed when you.....
- start thinking of getting married
- lose interest in shopping or anything you used to like.
- start singing nonsensically
- start doing the Lala thing. poseeee
- start thinking about how the world SHOULd end
- Start believing u have the power to overcome the hunger pangs
- Start believing u were left behind by God and that the Rapture has taken place in an empty house.....
- Start believing that ur friends don't really care about you
- Start believing that maybe ur life SHOULD revolve around ur studies + workload only
- When u've finally made everyone around u distant frm u..."
"you know, suicide seems to make alot of sense when ur lonely, suicide is freaking real okay. depression is freaking effing real. BUT then suddenly God sends you these angels, a.k.a random ppl around u who suddenly say senseless things but somehow make ur day seem more worthwhile or sth and of course all of you who suddenly call out of the blues or just sends you a "hi, hope you're doing fine" message. These people are the angels in disguise.
Here's something to look forward to in life.
when we ALL (close friends only!) turn 21, we'll go on a road trip with 21 people, go play 21, have 21 shots, have a 21 course meal, spend RM210/2100 (depends on our financial state then!) , buy 21 things on the 21st of wtv month it is and stay up for 21 hours that day. WHO CARES. then we can hire 21 stripdancers to watch! haha"
